How did Ethereum (ETH) appear?

'Ethereum' was conceived as a technology to facilitate the integration of blockchain into various projects.

Programmer Vitalik Buterin developed the Ethereum protocol, which opened up opportunities for creating decentralized applications (dApps) and smart contracts.

The protocol was introduced in 2014, and its full launch took place in 2015, when ether became available as an independent means of payment.

How does Ethereum (ETH) work?

ETH is based on blockchain technology, but its network differs from bitcoin and other similar systems in that not only people but also programs can manage wallets. These programs, called smart contracts, automatically make payments as soon as the terms of the deal are met. The conditions are written in the smart contract code, and the transaction is carried out upon completion of these conditions.
